API, WebSocket, and developer product updates
Programmatic traders get notices here for changes that are not just UI: new or deprecated REST and WebSocket endpoints, trading symbol availability, order and margin field behavior, and rate-limit or key-permission changes. This keeps strategies, bots, and integrations aligned with the live system.
What we usually call out
- A sunset date and migration path for any endpoint you should stop using.
- A higher or lower public rate limit, or a new sub-account for isolated keys.
- New order types, position modes, or error codes you must handle in production.
Always read the current developer documentation in parallel; we link it from “API documentation entry” in the Academy. Test on your staging keys before you increase size on a live key.
Fees, limits, and campaign rules can change. Always check what the app shows right now, plus any official notices, before you rely on a number.
